Annada's Spiced Kale & Black-Eyed Beans

This vibrant and nutritious dish is a quick way to enjoy fresh kale, perfectly complemented by the creamy texture of our wholesome beans and a simple blend of spices.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh kale, chopped
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 cup cooked Annada Black Eyed Beans
  • 1 tsp Annada Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Annada Dry Ginger Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Annada Chili Powder (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the Annada Turmeric powder, Annada Dry Ginger Powder, and Annada Chili Powder, and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the chopped kale and a pinch of salt. Cook until the kale has wilted.
  3. Stir in the cooked Annada Black Eyed Beans and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the beans are heated through.
  4. Serve hot on its own or as a delicious side dish.
